GB/T 47645-2026 is the English-translated version of 温室气体　产品碳足迹量化方法与要求　电动汽车充电设备.

GB/T 47645-2026 gives a method and requirements for quantifying the carbon footprint of products, applied to electric vehicle charging equipment. It covers the quantification objectives and range, life cycle inventory analysis, impact assessment of the product carbon footprint, interpretation of the results, and the product carbon footprint report.

Appendices give reference values for electricity and fossil fuel emission factors and a report template. It applies to quantifying the carbon footprint of off-board conductive electric vehicle charging equipment, including DC charging equipment and AC charging equipment.

Its normative references include GB/T 24025, GB/T 24040 and GB/T 24044. Issued on 2 July 2026 and applicable from 1 February 2027, it is a new standard and replaces no earlier edition.

1 Scope

This document specifies the purpose, scope, lifecycle inventory analysis, and carbon footprint of electric vehicle charging equipment products.

Impact assessment, interpretation of product carbon footprint results, and product carbon footprint report.

This document applies to the product carbon labeling of off-board conductive electric vehicle charging equipment (including DC charging equipment and AC charging equipment). Footprint quantification.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in 2025 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Electric vehicle charging equipment

Devices that connect to electric vehicles or power batteries via conductive or wireless means to provide them with electrical power.

Note: Electric vehicle charging equipment includes power modules, cables, copper busbars, charging connectors, charging control units, cabinets, circuit breakers, fans, and liquid cooling systems. System components, etc.

3.2 Product carbon footprint; CFP

The sum of greenhouse gas emissions and removals in the product system, expressed in carbon dioxide equivalents, is based on the single cycle of climate change. Life cycle assessments are conducted on environmental impact types. [Source: GB/T 24067-2024, 3.1.1]
