This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document is equivalent to ISO 29465:2022 "Determination of length and width of insulation products for building purposes".

1 Scope

This document specifies the equipment and procedures for measuring the length and width of full-size products.

This document applies to thermal insulation products.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Length

The main surface of the specimen has a longer linear dimension.

3.2 Width

The shorter linear dimension of the main surface of the specimen is perpendicular to the longer side.

Place the specimen on the platform and measure the linear dimensions directly using a metal ruler or metal tape measure.

Test equipment with at least the same accuracy and capable of providing the same results can be used.
