Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document is equivalent to ISO 4444:2022 "Agricultural sprayers - Recording of spray drift parameters".

The following minimal editorial changes have been made to this document.

1 Scope

The requirement is to automatically measure and record controllable operating parameters (during spraying operations).

The measured and recorded values can be used to compare sprayer settings with specific DRT regulations.

This document applies to sprayers for field, shrub, and tree crops, but not to handheld and portable sprayers. This document covers the following parameters.

a) Spray pressure (spray liquid pressure and air pressure of the two-phase flow nozzle);

b) Nozzle height (for field crop sprayers);

c) Fan speed (for airflow-assisted sprayers);

d) Sprayer forward speed. This document does not specify.

---Record the exact duration of the period;

---Verification of measured and recorded parameters;

---Data formats and exchange requirements already covered by other existing standards.

This document does not specify which of the four parameters needs to be monitored.
