Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document is equivalent to ISO 22471:2020 "Permitted mechanical connection assemblies for agricultural trailers and agricultural tractors".

The following minimal editorial changes have been made to this document.

---Added revisions to ISO 22471:2020/AMD.1.2025; the outer margins of the affected clauses are now filled with vertical lines. The double lines (||) are used to indicate this.

---ISO 5692:1997 and ISO 6489-1:1991 have been repealed, therefore footnote c of Table 1 of ISO 22471:2020 has been deleted.

This document provides recommended combinations of permissible mechanical connections for agricultural trailers and agricultural tractors.

The connection combinations for agricultural vehicles are shown in Table 1.

The recommendations for each mechanical connection component are applicable only if all the connecting devices used in the component meet the corresponding standards for the tractor vehicle and trailer.

Before using this document in the field of agricultural vehicles, check the current valid version of the standard corresponding to Table 1.
