Foreword

This document conforms to GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting is scheduled.

This document is modified to adopt ISO 8479:1986 "Q-type clamps (center-fixed clamps) for aerospace fluid systems - dimensions".

Compared with ISO 8479:1986, this document has undergone the following structural adjustments.

--Chapter 1 addresses Chapters 1 and 2 of ISO 8479:1986 to meet domestic usage habits;

--This document includes a new chapter on "Terms and Definitions";

--The references correspond to Chapter 3 of ISO 8479:1986 to meet domestic usage habits.

The technical differences between this document and ISO 8479:1986, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.

--Change the scope note in ISO 8479:1986 to the main text (see Chapter 1, Chapter 2 of ISO 8479:1986) to meet the requirements.

Domestic usage habits;

--The L dimension in Table 2 has been uniformly adjusted to 19.0 (see Table 2) to adapt to the current situation of domestic products and usage needs.

1 Scope

This document specifies the size range of Q-type (center-mounted clamp) clamps that are installed using bolts with a nominal diameter of 5 mm.

The dimensions specified in this document refer to the overall dimensions. This document is not considered an interchangeable standard. Tolerances for each type of clamp are specified on the part itself.

Q-type clamps with a pipe diameter greater than 50 mm are not suitable for the installation and fixing of rigid pipes or flexible hose assemblies.

Q-type (center-mounted clamp) clamps are divided into 6 types according to their operating temperature range, as shown in Table 1.
