Foreword

This document conforms to GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting is scheduled.

This document is modified to adopt ISO 8177:2021 "Dimensions of ohm-shaped clamps (saddle-shaped clamps) for aerospace fluid systems".

This document has undergone the following structural adjustments compared to ISO 8177:2021.

--Chapter 1 corresponds to Chapters 1 and 4 of ISO 8177:2021;

--Chapters 4, 5 and 6 correspond to Chapters 5, 6 and 7 of ISO 8177:2021, respectively.

The technical differences between this document and ISO 8177:2021, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.

--The dimensions in sections B, D, F, G, H, and L of ISO 8177:2021 have been adjusted (see Table 2) to adapt to the current situation of domestic products.

The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

--To align with existing standards, the standard name has been changed to "Dimensions of ohm-shaped (saddle-shaped) clamps for aerospace fluid systems".

1 Scope

This document specifies the size range of ohm-shaped (saddle-shaped) clamps that are installed using two bolts with a nominal diameter of 5 mm.

The dimensions specified in this document refer to the overall dimensions. This document is not considered an interchangeable standard. Tolerances for each type of clamp are specified on the part itself.

5 Product Description

The ohm-shaped (saddle-shaped) clamp is a "multi-component" type of clamp. It consists of an upper clamp and a lower clamp that adapts to the profile of the conduit base.

The unit consists of a clamp and a base. During installation, the mounting holes on the upper clamp should be aligned with the mounting holes on the base. This clamp is designed for single-pipe installation. Follow the product specifications.
