4 Airspace Management Terminology

4.1 airspace structure The way in which the various components of airspace are combined with each other.

Note. This usually includes the corresponding geographical location, scope, shape, type, name, code, service hours, usage restrictions, etc.

4.2 airspace capacity The maximum number of aircraft that can be received in a specific airspace per unit of time.

5 Terminology for Air Traffic Flow Management

6 Air Traffic Service Terminology

6.11 Voice-Automatic Terminal Information Service (VATIS) An automated terminal information service provided through continuous, repetitive voice broadcasts.
