1 Scope

GB/T 47414-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering taking a representative sample from a flowing pipeline - the probe and its insertion, the fast loop, the conditioning and the automatic sampler, on which custody transfer measurements and process control both depend. A sample that is not representative makes every analysis downstream of it worthless. First edition, 22,000 words, in force since 1 October 2026. It was issued on 31 March 2026 and takes effect on 1 October 2026, as a first edition. The document is under the responsibility of the China Machinery Industry Federation. 3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 sampling device Pipeline systems that enable sampling of the medium to be sampled.

Note. Sampling devices typically consist of the following three parts. the inlet pipe from the sampling point in the process pipeline to the sampling component, the sampling component, and the sampling medium return pipe (e.g.,...). (If there is).

3.2 Sampler component Accessories such as pipes, fittings, valves, sampling containers, instruments, pressure boosting and depressurization devices, heat exchangers, and integrated panels are manufactured by specialized factories. The unit is integrated into a protective case with a support frame and is supplied as a skid-mounted unit.
