Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document is modified to adopt ISO 7403:1998 "Aerospace spline drive wrench structure metric series".

This document has undergone the following structural adjustments compared to ISO 7403:1998.

---Two new chapters have been added. "Normative References" and "Terms and Definitions";

---Chapter 4 corresponds to Chapter 2 in ISO 7403:1998;

---Chapter 5 corresponds to Chapter 3 in ISO 7403:1998.

The technical differences between this document and ISO 7403:1998, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.

---The scope includes added tolerances and marking methods (see Chapter 1) to facilitate understanding and use of this document;

---The structural notation method has been improved, and the notation symbol "ISO " has been changed to "GB/T " to adapt to my country's technical conditions (see...). Chapter 5). The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

---To align with existing standards, the standard name has been changed to "Aerospace Spline Wrench Configuration Metric Series".

---The labeling of the structural diagram has been changed to better conform to the drafting habits of the domestic industry (see Figure 1).

1 Scope

This document specifies the structural form, dimensions, tolerances, and marking methods for metric aerospace spline type wrenches.

This document applies to the design of metric aerospace spline wrenches.

3 Terms and Definitions

This document does not contain any terms or definitions that need to be defined.

The spline-type wrench structure is shown in Figures 1 and 2, and the dimensions and tolerances of the spline-type wrench structure are shown in Tables 1 and 2.

When the actual profile conforms to the maximum and minimum solid ranges shown in Figures 1 and 2, 12 splines are allowed in terms of size, shape, and position.

The length varies within the tightening range. The dimensions must be determined before the self-locking nut self-locks.

Structural forms. External spline type is represented by EXT, and internal spline type is represented by INT.
