The issues not only impacted the organization's operational efficiency and economic benefits, but also posed a challenge to its sustainable development. This document establishes the review principles for key milestones of projects and project groups, specifies the overall review requirements, and outlines the review elements and content. The review process, review organization, review procedures, review conclusion reports, and requirements for evaluation and improvement. This document applies to major milestone review activities of project committees and project management offices (PMOs) in project and program management. Other members involved in the project may use this information for reference.

Note. Without causing confusion, the term "project" in this document includes projects and groups of projects, and is referred to simply as "project".

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Project key milestones (projectgate) Key decision points in a project are typically used by the project initiating organization and the project management committee to represent key stakeholders in the project. The purpose is to conduct a formal review and decision-making process based on the current status.

4 Review Principles

4.1 Objectivity and impartiality The evaluation is based on facts and data, conducted with an objective and impartial attitude.
