3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 42685-2023 and GB/T 44411-2024, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.
3.1 Road test lane A lane used for road testing and inspection of the service braking performance of motor vehicles. [Source: GB/T 42685-2023, 3.4.13, modified]
4 Testing equipment
The testing equipment is listed in Table 1.
5 Testing conditions
5.1 The road test lane and parking ramp shall be dry, clean, free of foreign objects and obstructions.
5.2 When testing the surface adhesion coefficient of the pavement, the ambient temperature shall be 0 °C ~ 40 °C, the relative humidity shall be <= 85%.
6.1 Road test lane
6.1.1 Visual inspection The surface of the road test lane shall be level, firm, free of obvious damage. It shall be marked with lane boundary lines and test lane lines that comply with requirements, as well as necessary traffic markings; all markings shall be clear, complete, continuous.
6.1.2 Length of road test lane
6.1.2.1 Set up the total station at a point with a visible point and level the instrument.
6.1.2.2 Place the prism successively at the start and end points of one of the test lane lines; adjust the prism stand at each location so that the bubble level is centered.
6.1.2.3 Use the side-measurement method, to measure the slant distance along the direction of travel of the test lane line. A schematic diagram for the testing of the road test lane length is shown in Figure 1.
6.1.2.4 Repeat the steps in
6.1.2.2 and 6.1.2.3, to measure the slant distance along the direction of travel of the other symmetrically positioned test corridor line.
