1 Scope

GB/T 47170-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering the set piece mounted on a frame - lances and wheels arranged to form a picture or a rotating device, fired as a display rather than thrown into the air. It fixes the construction and mounting, the composition, the performance and the safety distances. First edition, in force since 1 June 2026. It was issued on 27 February 2026 and has been in force since 1 June 2026, as a first edition. The document is under the responsibility of the China National Light Industry Council. This document defines the terminology for frame fireworks and specifies the design, grading and classification, process quality, and product quality requirements for frame fireworks products. Requirements, inspection rules, transportation and storage, and corresponding inspection methods are described. This document applies to the manufacture, installation, and acceptance of frame fireworks.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB 10631 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Fireworks that form designed images such as words, figures, landscapes, etc. when set off include fire wheels and shooting stars.

3.2 Fireworks that create a waterfall effect when set off.

3.3 Fireworks that create effects such as words or symbols when set off.

3.4 A type of firework that creates a wheel-shaped pattern when set off.

3.5 A product that moves on a fixed track and produces a whistling sound effect accompanied by sparks when ignited.
