1 Scope

GB/T 47154-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering describing an aquatic genetic resource - the taxonomy and origin, the morphological and biological characteristics, the growth and reproduction data and the molecular markers recorded for each accession. First edition, in force since 1 September 2026. It was issued on 27 February 2026 and has been in force since 1 September 2026, as a first edition. The document is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. This document specifies the basic information of aquatic germplasm resources, as well as descriptions of information such as their source, germplasm identification, quality testing, preservation, and sharing. Methods and technical requirements. This document applies to the information-based construction and management of aquatic germplasm resource surveys, aquatic germplasm resource banks, and aquatic germplasm resource platforms.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 It has economic, genetic breeding, ecological protection, and other scientific research value, and can contribute to the fishery industry, including fishing, aquaculture, and processing, as well as aquatic science.
