Foreword
This standard replaces GB/T 4712-1996 "automatic diesel generator set requirements of classification." this standard compared with the original GB/T 4712-1996, the technical content of the following changes.
--- Reference standard becomes JB/T 8194 and GB/T 12786.
--- Automated grading original four grades changed to three levels, and the elimination of requirements for unattended time.
--- Unit in parallel with the splitting is not limited to the same type of unit.
--- Added a remote computer communication control functional requirements.

1 Scope
This standard specifies requirements for automated grading automation diesel generator set.
This standard applies to press GB/T 12786 "automated combustion engine power plant general technical conditions" manufacturing automation diesel generator (with Hereinafter referred to as the unit).

3 Terms and Definitions
This standard uses the JB/T 8194 in the following terms and terminology.

4 General requirements

5 Automated Classification
5.1 Unit Level Automation
Level automation unit should meet the requirements of Table 1.

5.2 Features automated content rating
5.2.1 Level 1 automation
a) by automatic control commands or remote instruction automatic startup;
b) automatically accepted by the load instruction load;
c) instruction by automatic control or remote control instruction automatic shutdown;
d) automatically adjusts the frequency and voltage, to ensure the accuracy of the FM and regulator products meet the requirements of technical conditions;
