Introduction

GB/T 4706 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances" mostly adopts IEC 60335.On this basis, GB/T 4706 refers to The structure of IEC 60335 is divided into several parts, consisting of general requirements and special requirements. Part 1 is general requirements, and the other parts are For products covered by special requirements, their safety requirements are general requirements used in conjunction with the special requirements.

The requirements include supplements and modifications to the corresponding clauses in the general requirements to provide complete requirements for each product.

This document is the protection that the appliance needs to have against electrical, mechanical, thermal, fire and radiation risks when used normally according to the instructions.

This document also covers abnormal conditions that may occur during use and considers how electromagnetic interference may affect the safe operation of the equipment.

This document has taken into account the requirements of GB/T 16895 "Low Voltage Electrical Installations". The appliance is connected to the power supply in accordance with the electrical wiring rules.

1 Scope

This document specifies the safety of electric clothes drying machines for household and similar purposes.

This document applies to single-phase appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V for household and similar electric clothes drying machines.

Appliances that are not intended for general household use but may still cause danger to the public, for example. appliances intended for use in shops, offices, hotels, restaurants, hospitals Electric clothes drying machines used by non-professionals in hospitals, schools, light industry and farms are also within the scope of this document.

As far as practical, the common hazards present in the appliances covered by this document are those that occur in and around the home.

However, in general, this document does not consider.
