1 Scope

GB/T 46914-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the daily care a resident receives - washing, dressing, feeding, toileting and mobility assistance, the assessment that decides how much of each, the dignity and privacy required and the recording of what was actually done. First edition, with the infection control and restraint standards of the same batch, and the mandatory GB 48013-2026 above them all. It was issued on 31 December 2025 and has been in force since 1 April 2026, as a first edition. The document is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. This document specifies the general requirements, service content and requirements, service process, and service evaluation and improvement for daily care services in elderly care institutions. This document applies to the daily care services and management of elderly care institutions.
