Foreword

This document was drafted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020

Directives for standardization - Part 1.Rules for the structure and drafting of

standardizing documents.

This document is modified adoption of ISO 34501.2022 Road vehicles - Test scenarios

for automated driving systems - Vocabulary.

The technical deviations between this document and ISO 34501.2022, and the reasons

therefor, are as follows.

-- The scope of application of the document has been changed, and applicable

vehicle models have been added to conform to the practices of the automotive

industry in China (see Chapter 1);

-- The definitions of "automated driving system", "operational design domain" and

"dynamic driving task" have been revised (see 3.1, 3.26, and 3.28) to align with

the corresponding referenced national standards;

-- The term "operational design condition" and its definition (see 3.27) have been

added, which is more in line with the usage habits of the automotive industry in

China.

The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

-- A note has been added for the term "entity" (see 3.7);

-- The notes for the terms "scenario", "scene" and "event" have been removed (see

3.4, 3.6, and 3.13).

1 Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions related to testing scenarios for

automated driving systems.

This document applies to Category M and Category N vehicles equipped with

automated driving systems; for other vehicle types, this document can be a reference.
