1 Scope

GB/T 46819-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the latex filling of a pillow or mattress topper - the density and hardness, the compression set that decides how long it keeps its shape, the ageing, the odour, and the protein residues that matter to people with latex allergy. First edition. It was issued on 31 December 2025 and has been in force since 1 July 2026, as a first edition. 3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 14795-2023, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.
