1 Scope

GB/T 46708-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering running a product comparison that will stand up - the sampling from the open market rather than from the manufacturer, the test programme and its blinding, the weighting behind an overall score, the independence of the tester, and the right of reply before publication. 3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 21737-2022 and GB/T 40551-2021, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.

4.Basic Requirements Organizations and personnel conducting comparative tests on consumer products and related services should be independent of the stakeholders involved in issuing the comparative test reports. The method possesses independence, objectivity, and impartiality.

5 Implement the comparative test procedure

5.1 General Requirements The comparative testing process should include, but is not limited to, the project initiation stage, test organization, report writing, and sample handling.
