1 Scope

GB/T 46690-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the alarms a metro signalling system raises and how serious each is - the grading from an event that degrades nothing to one that stops the line, the information an alarm must carry, and the response each grade demands from the control centre. This document applies to the functional design, equipment use, and operation of urban rail transit signaling systems based on communication-based train operation control systems. 3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 12758 and GB/T 32852.3, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.

3.1 fault The system or device is unable to perform its intended function.
