3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in ISO 6531 apply to this document.

4 General Requirements

4.1 Forehand handlebars

The structure and position of the front handle should ensure that operation is not hindered within the entire grip area when the operator is wearing gloves, as shown in Figure 1. Figure 3.

The length of the gripping area should be determined using reference points X0 and X1 as shown in Figure 2. Reference point X0 should be determined according to ISO 6533. Sure.

Reference point X1, as shown in Figure 2, is determined by the bottom left side of the Type A gauge (according to ISO 6533).

The gauge should be parallel to the center line of the front handlebar and, starting from one side of the handlebar center line, pressed firmly against the handlebar. The gauge should be moved until it contacts the machine.

The outer casing or any obstruction. Reference point X1 is located at the intersection of the lower circular surface of the Type A gauge and the handle.

When an A-type gauge cannot be inserted between the machine handle and the outer casing, the gauge should be shortened, but the shortened length should not exceed the necessary limit.
