Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document is modified to adopt ISO 9181:2007 "Punching Dies - 60° Tapered Head Reduction Rod Round Punch".

This document adds two chapters. "Normative References" and "Terms and Definitions". The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

---In the hardness example, the Cr content of the material has been changed from 12% to "5%~12%", which is consistent with the actual situation in the industry and also with other examples. The material of some punches remains consistent [see Chapter 5a).

---In the hardness example, the hardness of the high-speed steel rod is changed from "(64±2)HRC" to "(62±2)HRC", and the head hardness is changed from... The value of "(50±5)HRC" has been changed to "(52±5)HRC" to align with industry practices and maintain consistency with the hardness of other punches. Consistent [see Chapter 5b].

1 Scope

This document specifies the basic dimensions and tolerances of the 60° tapered reduction punch with a reduction diameter D1 of 2 mm and 3 mm.

This document provides examples of materials and hardness, and specifies the markings for circular punches that conform to this document.

The circular punch specified in this document is mainly used for punching holes in steel plates, but it can also be used for punching holes in other materials.
