1 Scope

GB/T 46458-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the ordinary navigation antenna as opposed to the survey grade one - the gain pattern and axial ratio across the BeiDou bands, the noise figure of the integrated amplifier, the out-of-band rejection, and the environmental and durability tests. This document specifies the performance requirements for navigation antennas of the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System and describes the corresponding test methods. This document applies to the design, production, use, and testing of navigation antennas for the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (hereinafter referred to as "navigation antennas").

2 Normative references

GB/T 2423.1 Environmental testing of electronic and electrical products - Part

3.1 Terms and Definitions The terms and definitions defined in

GB/T 9390 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1.1 With the antenna phase center as the origin of the coordinate system and the antenna axis as the Z-axis, in a plane passing through the origin and perpendicular to the Z-axis, select a certain direction. The direction is taken as the antenna reference direction, with this direction as the X-axis, and the axis passing through the origin and perpendicular to both the Z-axis and X-axis as the Y-axis. The X, Y, and Z axes form the Right-handed coordinate system.

Note. Antenna coordinates often use spherical coordinates. The angle between the projection of the line connecting any point P on the sphere and the origin O onto the XOY plane and the X-axis is phi. The angle between OP and the Z-axis is the antenna pointing angle theta, and the angle between OP and the XOY plane is the antenna elevation angle. theta and the antenna elevation angle are complementary angles, as shown in Figure 1.
