Introduction
Offshore risers with anti-corrosion coatings are intermittently exposed to various conditions, including but not limited to sunlight, rain, snow, hail, water mist, and salt.
Fog, high humidity, fluctuating ambient temperatures (ranging from below zero to high temperatures), the effects of water currents and waves, and marine life. Exposure to these conditions...
This can lead to severe deterioration of the anti-corrosion layer at any time, resulting in poor anti-corrosion performance of the steel riser. This document addresses the production and maintenance stages of risers.
The different requirements for anti-corrosion coatings during the maintenance phase have led to the development of targeted standards for material selection, construction, and performance testing, providing guidance for designers and manufacturers.
To provide a complete and systematic solution for the corrosion protection of marine risers, including the contractor, the construction company, and the user, and to ensure the safe operation of the marine platform.
Sexuality. GB/T 46429 "Coatings and Coatings for External Corrosion Protection of Risers in the Petroleum, Petrochemical and Natural Gas Industries" is proposed to consist of two parts.
---Part 1: Elastomer Corrosion Protection System - Polychloroprene or EPDM rubber. The purpose is to specify the application process for risers.
The anti-corrosion layer is defined based on elastic anti-corrosion layers (chloroprene rubber, EPDM rubber, or those used in the oil and gas industry, etc.).
Minimum technical requirements for the external anti-corrosion layer and lining of risers (effective elastic anti-corrosion layer).
---Part 2: Maintenance and On-site Repair of Riser Corrosion Protection Coating. The purpose is to standardize the maintenance requirements and on-site repair procedures for riser corrosion protection coatings.
The regulations stipulate the selection criteria and minimum requirements for the anti-corrosion layer.
Oil, petrochemical and natural gas industries External corrosion protection for risers is achieved through coating and cladding.
Part 2: Maintenance and On-site Repair of Riser Corrosion Protection Coating
