It is how the uplift and erosion history of a basin is reconstructed. First edition, in force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 5 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026.

1 Scope

This document describes the methods for determining uranium, thorium, and helium isotopes and calculating ages of apatite and zircon, and specifies the corresponding quality requirements.

This document applies to the determination and age calculation of uranium, thorium, and helium isotopes in apatite and zircon.
