Scope
GB/T 46418-2025 is the English-translated version of 钛合金油管和套管.
GB/T 46418-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering titanium oilfield tubulars — the alloy and its strength at depth temperature, the connection and the galling that titanium is prone to, the resistance to the chlorides and sour gas that destroy steel, and the tests before a string goes down a well. Titanium goes down the wells where steel does not survive the fluids. First edition, in force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 5 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026.
