GB/T 46328-2025 is the English-translated version of 飞机管材公差.

GB/T 46328-2025 is a Chinese national standard for the tolerances of tubing used on aircraft. It is equivalent to ISO 12573:2010. The document specifies tolerances for tubing of circular cross-section.

Separate clauses give the dimensions and tolerances for four groups of material: titanium and titanium alloy tubing, aluminium alloy tubing, corrosion-resistant steel tubing and nickel alloy tubing.

Its terms include nominal size and outside diameter. The Chinese edition changes the table format to suit domestic practice and adds an explanation of the symbol "-" in the notes to Table 9. It refers to ISO 8575. Issued on 5 October 2025 and applicable from 1 May 2026.

1 Scope

This document specifies the tolerances for circular cross-section tubing used on aircraft.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Nominal size

Part Number Determine the dimensionless properties of the dimensions of fluid system components.

Note: For pipes, the nominal size is the nominal value of the outer diameter, expressed in one-sixteenth of an inch (1.59 mm). Example: -04 indicates 4/16in = 0.250in = 6.35mm

3.2 Outer diameter outside diameter

The distance between any two points at 180° intervals around the pipe within the same cross-section on the outer side of the pipe. See Figure 1.

Note: Unless otherwise specified, the outer diameter limit includes all allowances for ellipticity (insufficient coaxiality).
