Scope
GB/T 46314-2025 is the English-translated version of 原电池材料术语.
GB/T 46314-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the vocabulary of primary battery materials — the basic terms of cell, battery and primary cell, the categories running from zinc-carbon and alkaline manganese through metal-air and zinc-air, the characteristic indicators used to describe them, and the raw and auxiliary materials, each entry carrying its English equivalent and an index, which is what makes a specification written in one language buyable in the other. First edition, under the China National Light Industry Council. In force from 1 March 2026. Issued on 29 August 2025, it has been in force since 1 March 2026.
