The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
clean room
A dedicated room with floors and walls free of particle adsorption and release.
Note. The circulating air needs to be filtered through a high efficiency air filter (HEPA) or an ultra low particle air filter (ULPA). The main purpose is to minimize the impact on the work Contamination of the workbench, products being produced, and operators.
laminar airflow
uniform airflow (as opposed to turbulent airflow) within a cleanroom (3.1) that ensures that all detached particles (3.5) are effectively removed from the cleanroom 3.3 RO-DI treated water Water with very low particle (3.5) and ion content.
resistivity
The resistance of a particular material (rubber) to the flow of electric current.
Note. The unit of resistivity is Mohm, which is an indicator for measuring the purity of RO-DI treated water (3.3). The optimal purity is 18 Mohm.
