1 Scope

This document specifies the dimensions and tolerances of cylindrical ejector pins used in compression molds, injection molds, and die-casting molds, in millimeters.

This document also provides recommended materials and hardness requirements, and specifies the markings for cylindrical head push rods.

For flat putters, see ISO 8693; for putters with shoulders, see ISO 8694.

4 Dimensions

The dimensions of the cylindrical head push rod shall conform to the specifications in Figure 1, Table 1 and Table 2.

Surface roughness is measured in micrometers.

Index number explanation.

1---Chamfer.

When the material is hot-work steel, the surface roughness Ra is 0.8 µm; when the material is alloy cold-work steel, the surface roughness Ra is 0.4 µm.

b. Within the transition range, the accuracy requirements for surface roughness and diameter D1 can be appropriately relaxed.
