1 Scope

This document specifies the basic dimensions and tolerances of cylindrical head push rods with shoulders used in compression molds, injection molds, and die-casting molds, in millimeters.

This document also provides recommended materials and hardness requirements, and specifies the markings for push rods with shoulders.

The international standard for cylindrical head push rods is ISO 6751, and the international standard for flat push rods is ISO 8693.

4 Dimensions

The dimensions of the push rod with shoulder should conform to the requirements of Figure 1 and Table 1.

The unit of measurement is millimeters.

Surface roughness is measured in micrometers.

Index number explanation.

1---No burrs on the edges.

The surface roughness Ra of hot-work steel is 0.8 µm, and the surface roughness Ra of alloy cold-work steel is 0.4 µm.

b. The coaxiality value of 0.05mm between diameters D1 and D2 was measured when the maximum transition distance was 10mm.

c. Within the transition range, the accuracy requirements for surface roughness and diameter D2 can be appropriately relaxed.
