1 Scope

GB/T 46114-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the tea supply chain from garden to shelf - the traceability of a lot back to the plot and the picking date, the storage conditions that decide whether the tea is still worth what it was, and the records that support an origin claim. First edition, under the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, in force from 1 April 2026. It was issued on 2 December 2025 and has been in force since 1 April 2026, as a first edition. This document establishes the general principles for tea supply chain management, stipulating provisions for supplier selection and management, procurement, processing, packaging, warehousing, and transportation. Technical requirements for distribution and sales define the terminology used in tea supply chain management. This document applies to all types of enterprises involved in the procurement (including self-harvesting) of raw materials such as fresh tea leaves, as well as tea processing, packaging, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and sales.
