1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements for safety signs and information symbols for the living areas and special equipment of recreational vehicles.

This document applies to the design and use of safety signs and information symbols for recreational vehicle living areas and special equipment.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 22550 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 living area

The recreational vehicle is equipped with necessary special facilities, with designated areas for daily life activities such as living and resting.

3.2 Specialized device

Equipment, components, or systems designed, manufactured, and installed specifically for the living area of recreational vehicles, with specific uses and performance characteristics.

Note. This typically includes, but is not limited to, tables and chairs, sleeping facilities (including those derived from tables and chairs), cooking facilities, storage facilities (including food and supplies), sanitation facilities, and necessary items.

Lighting and other facilities.

3.3 safety sign

A sign consisting of graphic symbols, safety colors, geometric shapes (borders), or text, used to convey specific safety information. [Source. GB 2894-2025, 3.3]

3.3.1 Prohibitory sign

Safety signs that prohibit unsafe behavior to avoid potentially serious consequences.

3.3.4 Direction sign

Safety signs that guide users to perform a certain action or take preventative measures.

4 General Requirements

4.1 Safety signs for the living area and special equipment of recreational vehicles shall be used in combination with supplementary signs and shall comply with the provisions of Table 1.Supplementary The sign should consist of the type of safety sign and the information provided. The background color of the safety sign type should be the same as that of the safety sign.

4.2 The living area and special facilities of recreational vehicles shall be equipped with the safety signs specified in 5.2 and comply with the requirements of Table 2.The living area of recreational vehicles...

If the area and special equipment are equipped with the safety signs specified in 5.3, they shall comply with the provisions of Table 3.

4.3 If the living area and special equipment of recreational vehicles use the information symbols specified in Chapter 6, they shall comply with the provisions of Table 4.

4.4 The color and chromaticity of safety signs shall conform to the provisions of GB/T 2893.4.The color and chromaticity used in supplementary signs shall be consistent with those of safety signs.

The characters must be identical, and the font height should not be less than 6mm.

4.5 When information symbols are used as graphic symbols for functional indication signs, such as indicating the operating status of a special device, red, a safety color, should not be used.

And yellow. If the device is illuminated to indicate whether it is operating, green is appropriate to indicate normal operation, and green to indicate malfunction or shutdown.

Orange is the preferred color for indicating status; if using luminous and non-luminous methods to indicate device status, luminous indicates the device is on or running, and non-luminous indicates the device is not.
