Scope
GB/T 45925-2025 is the English-translated version of 毫米波信号增强玻璃.
GB/T 45925-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering low-emissivity coated glass with the coating etched away in a pattern so a phone signal can get through it — the three classes by wavelength band from 7.5 mm to 600 mm, the appearance and the dimensions and deviation of the etched pattern read under a microscope, the light transmittance that the etching must not spoil, the shielding effectiveness that measures how much signal now passes, and the inspection rules. First edition, with the electrochromic laminated glass standard GB/T 45921-2025. Under the China Building Materials Federation. In force from 1 January 2026. Issued on 30 June 2025, it has been in force since 1 January 2026.

Millimeter wave signal enhancement glass
1 Scope
This document specifies the classification, requirements, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of millimeter wave signal enhanced glass, and describes the corresponding test method.
This document is applicable to architectural coatings that use etching or masking processes to reduce the penetration attenuation of signals with wavelengths of 7.5mm to 600mm.
Design, production and delivery of glass.
2 Normative references
GB/T 2680-2021
GB/T 18915.2
GB/T 30142
3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18915.2 and the following apply to this document.
3.1 Etched area of coating
The area of the film-free region produced by etching or masking the coated glass.
4 Categories
According to the applicable frequency band wavelength (lambda), millimeter wave signal enhancement glass can be divided into the following three categories.
— Class I. Applicable to signal-enhanced glass with wavelengths within the range of 7.5mm <=lambda<=12.5mm;
— Class II. Applicable to signal-enhanced glass with wavelengths in the range of 12.5mm < lambda < 50mm;
— Class III. Applicable to signal-enhanced glass with wavelengths within the range of 50mm<=lambda<=600mm.
5 Requirements
5.1 Appearance Quality
The appearance quality should meet the requirements of GB/T 18915.2.
5.2 Score pattern size and deviation
The dimensions and deviations of the notch pattern should meet the design requirements.
