GB/T 45868-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering parts grown layer by layer from TC4 and TA15 titanium powder — the powder itself and the forming process, the delivery heat treatment state, the chemical composition and the mechanical properties, the surface and internal quality checked by radiography and computed tomography, the microstructure and the dimensions, the batch defined as one build, and the recommended annealing and hot isostatic pressing that closes the porosity left by the melt. First edition, under the China Machinery Industry Federation. In force from 1 November 2025. Issued on 1 August 2025, it has been in force since 1 November 2025.

1 Scope

3 Terms and Definitions

4.1 Powder

4.1.1 TC4 and TA15 powders for laser powder bed fusion of titanium alloys shall comply with the requirements of Class I FTC4 and FTA15 in GB/T 34486-2017.
