Scope

GB/T 45847-2025 is the English-translated version of 航空非呼吸用压缩空气.

GB/T 45847-2025 is the Chinese national standard for the compressed air used on aircraft for purposes other than breathing, compressed in oil-lubricated equipment.

It requires the supply to be able to pressurise the aircraft system to 34.3 MPa at 20 °C, names 24.1 MPa and 34.3 MPa as the usual working pressures, and caps contamination measured at 15 °C and 101.3 kPa at 0.005 mg of oil vapour and suspended particles per litre and 0.02 mg of water per litre, with particles able to pass a 10 µm filter.

It does not cover breathing air or oxygen systems. Gas suppliers and aircraft ground servicing use it when charging pneumatic systems. Identical to ISO 2434:1973, it was issued on 30 June 2025 and has applied since 1 October 2025.

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document is equivalent to ISO 2434:1973 "Compressed air for non-breathing purposes" for aviation.

This document adds two chapters. "Normative References" and "Terms and Definitions".

1 Scope

This document specifies the pressure and property requirements for aviation non-breathing air compressed in oil-lubricated equipment.

This document is not applicable to air for breathing or oxygen systems.

The compressed air supply pressure should be able to ensure that the aircraft system can be pressurized to 34.3MPa at 20°C.

4 Pressure

Note: The commonly used working pressures of compressed air systems for aircraft are 24.1MPa and 34.3MPa.

5 Performance

5.1 At 15°C and 101.3 kPa, the total amount of oil vapor and suspended particles in each liter of compressed air shall not exceed 0.005 mg.

5.2 At 15°C and 101.3 kPa, the water content per liter of compressed air should not exceed 0.02 mg.

5.3 Particles in compressed air should be able to pass through a filter with a filtration accuracy of 10µm.
