GB/T 45812-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering sorting garments into quality grades rather than just pass or fail — the safety floor every grade has to clear, the graded requirements above it, the physical and chemical properties of the finished garment, the restricted substances in the cloth and in the trims and accessories, the inspection methods, the rules for deciding which grade a product falls into, and the symbols that carry that grade to the buyer. First edition, under the China National Textile and Apparel Council. In force from 1 December 2025. Issued on 30 May 2025, it has been in force since 1 December 2025.

1 Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions of clothing quality classification, establishes basic principles, stipulates requirements, judgment rules and classification symbols, and describes The inspection method is described.

This document is applicable to the quality grading of clothing products made of textile fabrics as the main material. Other accessories products shall be implemented accordingly.
