Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting is required.

This document is Part 1 of GB/T 45788 "Quality Requirements for Resistance Welding of Metallic Materials". GB/T 45788 has been published as follows.

Lower part.

-Part 1: Complete quality requirements;

-Part 2: Basic quality requirements.

This document is modified to adopt ISO 14554-1:2013 "Welding quality requirements - Resistance welding of metallic materials - Part 1: General quality requirements" beg".

The technical differences between this document and ISO 14554-1:2013 and their reasons are as follows.

The normative reference GB/T 12467.1 replaced ISO 3834-1 to adapt to my country's actual technical situation and increase operability.

The requirements for welding coordinators have been deleted to adapt to my country's actual technical situation;

The requirements for electrode identification have been deleted to facilitate domestic practical application.

The following editorial changes were made to this document.

To coordinate with the existing standards, the name of the standard is changed to "Quality Requirements for Resistance Welding of Metallic Materials Part 1: Complete Quality Requirements"; -Change the title of 6.4 to welding responsible person; -the explanatory statements on welding responsible personnel and welding procedure approval were deleted in Appendix A; -Removed references. -

Introduction

GB/T 45788 "Quality Requirements for Resistance Welding of Metal Materials" specifically stipulates in detail the quality requirements for resistance welding of metal materials.

It covers all aspects of resistance welding, from contract and design review, subcontract services, welding personnel, inspection and testing personnel, welding equipment,, welding and related activities, to welding electrodes and accessories, parent metal storage, heat treatment, inspection and testing, non-conformities and corrective actions, equipment Equipment calibration, identification, quality records, etc. are all comprehensively and systematically regulated.

GB/T 45788 also provides guidance for manufacturers to establish a complete welding quality management system.
