Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document is part 2 of GB/T 45665 "Conical connectors for anesthesia and respiratory equipment". GB/T 45665 has been published as follows part.

--- Part 1: Cone head and cone sleeve;

--- Part 2: Threaded load-bearing joints.

This document is modified to adopt ISO 5356-2:2012 "Conical connectors for anesthetic and respiratory equipment - Part 2: Threaded load-bearing connectors".

The technical differences between this document and ISO 5356-2:2012 and their reasons are as follows.

--- ISO 965-2 (see Chapter 4) has been replaced by the normative reference GB/T 9145 to adapt to my country's technical conditions.

The following editorial changes were made to this document.

--- Incorporated the amendments to ISO 5356-2:2012/AMD1.2019, the outer margins of the clauses involved are indicated by vertical A straight double line (|) is used to indicate;

--- Deleted the "Note" in the "Scope" chapter;

--- Replaced ISO 262:1973 with the informative reference JB/T 7912-1999.

Introduction

GB/T 45665 "Conical connectors for anesthetic and respiratory equipment" is intended to consist of the following parts.

--- Part 1: Cone head and cone sleeve. The purpose is to specify the connection between anesthesia and respiratory equipment (such as breathing systems, anesthetic gas purification the requirements for the dimensions and measurements of the cone head and cone sleeve of the system and evaporator).

--- Part 2: Threaded load-bearing joints. The purpose is to specify the threaded load-bearing conical joints used for inhalation anesthesia equipment and ventilators Size requirements, these couplings are used to equip heavy-duty accessories.

Although the cone head and cone sleeve specified in GB/T 45665.1-2025 are used for the connection of light breathing accessories, they are not suitable for supporting heavy or Fragile accessories require more robust connectors. Design factors for these connectors include strength, simplicity, ease of sterilization, and ease of manual connection and disconnection.

These fittings are compatible with the cone heads and cone sleeves specified in GB/T 45665.1-2025, and although the system is checked for Proper installation is the user's responsibility; these connectors should be designed to minimize the possibility of accidental misconnection.

The threaded load-bearing fittings specified in this document can be used for accessories in breathing systems and at common gas outlets.

NOTE 1 In practice, the ventilation system usually extends from.

a) The gas supply port for the mixed gas (in some cases, particularly in ventilators, this port may be internal to the device and not compatible with other devices installed elsewhere).

such as the interface on the ventilator housing), such as the common gas outlet of the anesthesia machine;

b) Fresh gas inlet of the circulatory system, such as ventilator, T-tube, etc.;

c) Fresh gas inlet for the artificial resuscitator.

Note 2.The venting system usually extends from the outlet of the mixed gas from the APL valve, the open end of the T-piece, etc. to the atmosphere or the gas purification system.

NOTE 3 Dedicated gas lines connected to the gas purification system are not considered part of the ventilation system.
