Scope

GB/T 45664-2025 is the English-translated version of 航空电加温玻璃环境试验方法.

GB/T 45664-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering testing the heated windshield and cabin windows of an aircraft — the laboratory ambient temperature and humidity the tests are run under, the pressure chamber that holds the pane in its installed condition rather than in a frame of convenience, the ultimate pressure loading, and the fail-safe behaviour required of the laminate, which has to hold once any one of its load-bearing layers has broken. First edition, under the China Building Materials Federation. In force from 1 December 2025. Issued on 30 May 2025, it has been in force since 1 December 2025.

Environmental test method for aviation electrically heated glass

1 Scope

This document specifies the test environment conditions and test items for environmental testing of aviation electrically heated glass and describes the corresponding test methods.

This document is applicable to the environmental test of civil aviation electrically heated glass, and other aviation electrically heated glass environmental tests shall be implemented for reference.

2 Normative references

GB/T 22778

GB/T 37826

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 37826 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 fail-safe

Under a specific load, after any layer of the main bearing layer of the aviation electric heating glass is destroyed, the rest of the structure remains intact.

4 Test environment conditions

Except for special requirements, the test should be carried out under the following environmental conditions.

a) Ambient temperature. 20°C±5°C;

b) Relative humidity. 40%~80%.

5 Test items and methods

5.1 Ultimate pressure

5.1.1 Purpose of the test

To test the ability of aviation electrically heated glass to withstand extreme loads.

5.1.2 Test equipment

The test equipment consists of the following parts.

a) Test pressure chamber. The test pressure chamber should be able to simulate the actual installation state of aviation electric heating glass.

The tooling is connected to the test pressure box and can maintain a seal. The test pressure box should be strong enough to withstand the load specified in the test.
