Scope
GB/T 45644-2025 is the English-translated version of 热塑性塑料检查井抗地面和交通负荷性能试验方法.
GB/T 45644-2025 is the Chinese test for whether the top of a plastic inspection chamber will stand up to the ground and traffic loads above it.
The part tested is the upper assembly (shaft, offset end, expansion joint and pressure ring), buried in a test box or as it would be on site, loaded through a plate at the cover centre, then examined for damage and defects.
The box must leave at least 0.3 m clear around the plastic component and must not deflect more than 3 mm anywhere, and the loading device must hold a constant load for at least 15 minutes.
It does not apply to chamber covers or cover frames. Pipe system makers and testing laboratories use it. A modified adoption of ISO 13266:2022, it was issued on 25 April 2025 and applies from 1 November 2025.

Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.
This document is modified to adopt ISO 13266:2022 "Inspection wells and manholes for thermoplastic pipe systems for non-pressure buried drainage and sewage treatment" Determination of the resistance of thermoplastic shafts to ground and traffic loads.
Compared with ISO 13266:2022, this document has many structural adjustments. Comparison table of structural number changes between the two documents See Appendix A. This document has many technical differences compared to ISO 13266:2022.
A list of these technical differences and their causes is given in Appendix B. The following editorial changes were made to this document.
--- Change the name of the standard to "Test method for resistance of thermoplastic manholes to ground and traffic loads" to conform to domestic industry practices;
--- Deleted the note in Chapter 1 of ISO 13266:2022;
--- Deleted footnotes a and c in Table 1 of ISO 13266:2022.
1 Scope
This document describes the thermoplastic manhole upper assembly (usually including the shaft, offset end, expansion joint and pressure ring) and traffic load performance test methods.
This document applies to the testing of the resistance of thermoplastic manhole upper assemblies to ground and traffic loads.
This document is not applicable to the testing of thermoplastic manhole covers and cover bases.
2 Normative references
The contents of the following documents constitute essential clauses of this document through normative references in this document.

3 Terms and definitions
There are no terms or definitions that require definition in this document.
4 Principle
The test component is buried in the test box (or buried according to the on-site conditions) and load is applied (see Figure 1). During the loading process, the manhole cover or its After the test is completed, check the appearance and defects of the upper assembly.
Other documents that reference this document may use the following test conditions different from those specified in this document.
a) Number of samples (see Chapter 6);
b) Maximum load (see Chapter 9);
c) Type of backfill material (see Chapter 9);
d) Compactness of backfill material (see Chapter 9).
5 Experimental equipment
5.1 Test chamber
The test chamber should be large enough to accommodate the test component and should be at least 0.3 m away from all sides of the plastic component.
It should be vertical and smooth, and the structure and strength of the test box should ensure that the deformation of any point of the test box during the test should not exceed 3mm.
5.2 Loading device
The required load can be applied to the middle of the manhole cover and can maintain a constant load for at least 15 minutes. The loading plate for applying the load should meet
