Scope

GB/T 45607-2025 is the English-translated version of 船舶与海上技术船舶系泊和拖带设备系泊导缆孔底座.

GB/T 45607-2025 covers the seats, or bases, on which mooring chocks are mounted to lead mooring and towing lines on board ship. It gives their classification, nominal dimensions, dimensions and materials, together with the requirements for construction, manufacture and marking.

Bases are sorted by where they sit: Type A on the deck, Type B on deck and side, and Type C as a bracket on the bulwark; the nominal size follows that of the chock served, from 250x200 up to 500x250, with a letter A, B or C added to separate safe working loads.

Safe working load is defined as the maximum permissible load on the mooring and towing arrangement. Shipyards, outfitting suppliers and design offices use it. Identical to ISO 23115:2020, it was issued on 25 April 2025 and applies from 1 August 2025.

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document is equivalent to ISO 23115:2020 "Ships and marine technology - Mooring fairlead bases for ship mooring and towing equipment".

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification, nominal dimensions, dimensions and materials of mooring chocks for guiding mooring and towing lines on board ships, as well as the Construction, manufacturing and marking requirements.

4 Categories

4.1 Type

The base of the mooring fairlead shall be divided into the following types according to the installation position.

a) Type A. deck mounted mooring fairlead base;

b) Type B. mooring fairlead bases installed on deck and side;

c) Type C. mooring fairlead bracket installed on bulwark.

4.2 Nominal dimensions

The nominal dimensions of mooring chock bases are expressed with reference to mooring chocks of the same nominal dimensions (ISO 13713).

The dimensions and parameters of the mooring fairlead base shall be in accordance with Tables 1, 2 and 3, and Figures 1, 2 and 3.
