GB/T 45555-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the small black pig of Congjiang in Guizhou and Huanjiang in Guangxi — the traits of early maturity, easy fattening and hardiness, the coat and conformation down to the drooping ears and the five to seven pairs of effective teats, the adult weight and body measurements taken at a fixed age and parity, the production performance, the breeding requirements, and the measurement method that makes one animal comparable with another. 1 Scope
This document specifies the origin and characteristics of the Xiang pig breed, its body shape and appearance, adult weight and size, production performance and basic requirements for breeding. The determination method.
This document is applicable to the breed identification of fragrant pigs.

4 Origin and characteristics of varieties
The origin of Xiang pig is Congjiang, Guizhou and Huanjiang, Guangxi. The central production area is located in Zaibian, Bingmei, Jiajiu and Jiabang townships in Congjiang County, Guizhou Province.
Town, as well as Minglun and Dongxing towns in Huanjiang County, Guangxi. It has the characteristics of early maturity, easy fertilizer, strong resistance to adversity, small size and fragrant meat.
5 Body shape and appearance
The hair color of the fragrant pig is mainly black, with a few white or partially white foreheads, tail tips and limbs; the body is short, short and plump; the head is medium-sized, the face is The back of a boar is straight, with many wrinkles on the forehead; the mouth is round, the ears are small and drooping, the neck is short and thick, and the chest is deep and narrow. The back of a boar is relatively straight or slightly concave, and the rump is often slanted.

6 Adult weight and size
