General requirements for automobile tire performance grade marking

1 Scope

This document specifies the content of automobile tire rolling resistance performance, relative grip performance on wet roads, and coasting noise performance level labeling.

Content, style and usage requirements.

This document applies to grade marking for new passenger car tyres and truck tyres.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 6326 apply to this document.

4 Logo content

The label should contain at least the following information.

a) Tire brand or manufacturer name;

b) Tire specifications, load index, speed symbol;

c) Tire rolling resistance performance level;

d) relative tyre grip performance rating on wet roads;

e) Tire coasting noise level and sound pressure level;

f) Description of special tire types, such as snow tires, ice tires, run-flat tires, etc. (if applicable);

g) QR code.
