Foreword

This document was drafted in accordance with the rules provided in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives

for Standardization - Part 1.Rules for the Structure and Drafting of Standardizing Documents.

This document modifies and adopts ISO 11410.2021 Leather - Guidelines for Packaging of Wet

Blue Leather.

In comparison with ISO 11410.2021, this document has many structural adjustments. See

Appendix A for a comparison of the structure number changes between the two documents.

The technical differences between this document and ISO 11410.2021 and the causes for these

differences are as follows.

---The purpose of wet blue leather packaging in Scope is modified into a note (see Chapter

1) to comply with the compilation habits of Chinese standards and facilitate the

understanding;

---The normative reference to QB/T 2262 is added (see Chapter 3) to facilitate the

understanding and use of the Standard;

---The content related to ISO and IEC terminology databases in "Terms and Definitions"

is deleted (see Chapter 3 of ISO 11410.2021), which does not affect the understanding

and use of the Standard;

---The terms and definitions of "pallet" and "palletizing" (see 3.4 and 3.5) are added to

facilitate the understanding and use of the Standard;

---The requirements for packaging materials are modified (see 4.2; 4.2 of ISO 11410.2021)

to comply with the actual domestic situation;

---The provisions on "production organization (distribution organization) information" are

added to Marking (see 4.4) to facilitate product traceability;

---The units of "average size", "quantity" and "mass" are added (see 4.5) to comply with

the provisions of the compilation of Chinese standards;

---The instructions on the demand for plant quarantine certificates or marks when using

wooden pallets are added (see 4.6) to comply with the actual domestic situation.

This document makes the following editorial changes.

---The title of the Standard is modified into Leather - Specification for Packaging of Wet

Blue Leather;

---The "Bibliography" is deleted;

1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements for the packaging of wet blue leather.

This document is applicable to the packaging of various types of wet blue leather (such as goat

wet blue leather, sheep wet blue leather and cattle wet blue leather, etc.).

NOTE. the packaging of wet blue leather is mainly used for the transportation and storage of

products.

The contents of the following documents constitute indispensable clauses of this document

through the normative references in the text. In terms of references with a specified date, only

versions with a specified date are applicable to this document. In terms of references without a

specified date, the latest version (including all the modifications) is applicable to this document.
