1 Scope

GB/T 45254-2025 specifies the data interface for opening a client account on the Chinese futures market. Account opening is where the whole regulatory chain of a futures market starts: the unified client code that lets a regulator see a single beneficial owner across every broker and every exchange is created here, and it is the basis of position limit enforcement and of market surveillance. The standard defines the interface between the futures companies, the account opening service platform and the monitoring centre: the message structure, the data elements and their formats for the client identity, the natural person and legal person identification documents, the appropriateness assessment, the trading codes and the account relationships, the business scenarios covered, that is opening, amendment, suspension and closure, and the rules for validation, acknowledgement and error handling. For a futures broker, a software vendor serving one, or a foreign firm connecting to the Chinese futures market, this is the interface specification the connection is built to.

This document specifies the interface definition, account opening management process, and message exchange between various participants in the futures market. Format and message specifications. The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 message An identified, named, and structured collection of functionally related segments.
