Guidelines for the Construction of Urban Distribution Network System
1 Scope
This document provides guidelines for the construction of urban distribution network systems, urban distribution nodes, and urban distribution channels.
This document applies to the construction, renovation and optimization of distribution network nodes and distribution channels within the city center and suburban areas.
2 Normative references
This document has no normative references.
3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Urban distribution
In the city center and suburban areas, we collect, sort, store, select, process, package, Logistics activities such as assembly and delivery to the designated location on time.
3.2 Manage network system
The logistics formed by connecting different types of distribution nodes distributed in the central urban area and the suburban area of the city through transportation lines

4 Urban distribution network system
4.1 The urban distribution network system consists of urban distribution nodes and urban distribution channels. The urban distribution nodes are defined in Chapter 5.
The functions are divided into Class I nodes, Class II nodes, and Class III nodes. The hierarchical relationship can be divided into three types. A, B, and C according to the nodes where the goods pass through, as shown in Figure 1.
As shown in the figure, urban distribution nodes should be arranged according to the A and B hierarchical relationships, and megacities and supercities can adopt the C hierarchical relationship.
Note. According to the Notice of the State Council on Adjusting the Standards for Classifying Urban Size (Guofa [2014] No. 51), cities are classified into megacities, super-large cities, and megacities according to their size.
