Scope
GB/T 45034-2024 is the English-translated version of 棉花间作轮作技术要求.
GB/T 45034-2024 is the Chinese national standard covering cotton grown in alternating rows or strips with peanuts, soybeans, watermelons or peppers, and rotated with them — the basic conditions the site has to meet, among them the heat over the whole growing season and an accumulated temperature of at least 3000 degrees Celsius, which decides whether both crops can ripen in one season, the preparation before sowing, and the planting technique for each pairing. Cotton stays the main crop throughout: the companion is fitted around it, not the other way round. First edition, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. In force from 1 June 2025. Issued on 28 November 2024, it has been in force since 1 June 2025.
