Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting is required.

This document is equivalent to ISO 1967:1974 "Dimensions, conductor resistance and mass of fire-resistant cables for aircraft".

This document adds two chapters. "Normative References" and "Terms and Definitions".

1 Scope

This document specifies the rated voltage of 600 V, the maximum frequency of 2 000 Hz, and the continuous operating temperature not exceeding 280 °C (ambient temperature plus conduction the dimensions, conductor resistance and mass of a single-core copper conductor cable that can withstand 400 °C for a limited time (without wire temperature rise).

The cable will maintain a certain dielectric strength within 5 minutes under flame.

4 Application Areas

This document applies to fire-resistant cables for aircraft fire protection area equipment. The performance and test methods of fire-resistant cables are given in ISO 2155 and ISO 2156.

The size, conductor resistance and quality of fire-resistant cables shall comply with the requirements of Table 1.
