Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document is equivalent to IEC 62443-3-2:2020 "Industrial automation and control systems safety - Part 3-2.Safety of system design" risk assessment".

The following minimal editorial changes have been made to this document.

--- To coordinate with the existing standards, the name of the standard will be changed to "Safety Risks in System Design for Industrial Automation and Control Systems" Evaluate".

Introduction

There is no easy way to ensure the security of Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) because security is a risk management Because of the threats faced, the likelihood of these threats, the inherent vulnerabilities in the system, and the consequences of the system being damaged, Because IACS are different, they bring different risks to the organization. In addition, different organizations have different tolerance for risks.

This document is intended to guide organizations in assessing the risks of specific IACS and identifying and applying safety countermeasures to reduce the risks to an acceptable level.

The key concepts in this document are the application of areas and pipelines, as defined in GB/T 40211.

Users of this document include asset owners, system integrators, product suppliers, service providers and compliance management agencies.

This document provides a framework for determining security countermeasures by agreeing on the Security Level of Target (SL-T) and the Security Level of Capability (SL-C).
